Program Description
Do you like art, color, advertising and interesting images? A graphic designer works with these venues and is responsible for designing, creating and producing the printed media that surrounds you everyday. Magazines, menus, posters, brochures, CD sleeves and book jackets are a few examples of print media. In the Graphic Design and Digital Publishing Program, learn how to take a design project from conception through publishing. Today's graphic designer must be well versed in concept development, creative problem solving, imagery, technical production and publishing. The Graphic Design and Digital Publishing Program challenges the student to meet the demands of the industry in graphic design, print production, and publishing for print media. Students combine creative applied arts with technology while working in design, photo manipulation and illustration software.
